Sub 90-minute Hyrox Open Solo! 1:28:25

It`s been a wild week but immensely proud to achieve a Hyrox Open Solo time in under 90 minutes this week at Birmingham...!
I`m grateful to @oliecanlett and @_factr for the amazing help, preparation and encouragement to keep going even during those moments I didn`t feel like training. Also for the brilliant sessions in @limitlessfitness_stirling led by @emilyrobertsonfitness and @cammyanderson_coach
The plan was to run a smart race and beat my Manchester time. To finish in under 90 minutes was honestly something I never thought I would achieve. The wall balls did not destroy my soul... this time.
We keep pushing and looking forward to 2027!

A week ago today was opening night of Macbeth where I performed as Malcolm, Prince of Cumberland and later King of Scotland, after 9 months of rehearsal, memorising 194 lines, and working with the most amazing cast and crew with @krakentheatregroup .
I thoroughly enjoyed delving into his cunning and menacing sides. He could be wise, manipulative, and ruthless at the drop of a hat whilst still presenting as the virtuous alternative to Macbeth`s tyranny.
I can`t let go of this character just yet... and his words continue to live rent-free in my head. I will miss having an army to command and a daily coronation!

Very excited to be sharing the stage with my on stage younger brother Alexander Rees as Prince Donalbain in the upcoming @krakentheatregroup production of MACBETH by William Shakespeare.
Both Malcolm and Donalbain are based on real historical Kings of Scotland who navigate war, plots and schemes in an age of brutal violence.
Less than two weeks to go!
